My skin is really dehydrated. In Winter is due to the cold, in the Summer is due to the heat. I was so desperate in the summer, I couldn’t even sleep due to my dehydrated-itchy skin and I bouhgt this in puré desperation. It is supposed to be used with our morning routine but I find it a little too sticky to my taste so I use at night. I know Vichy has a night version of this but I have the Water Sleeping Pack by Laneige and they are exactly the same.
This has very fresh gel-texture, it is very pleasant to apply and it smells the same as the rest of the Aqualia range. Its very easy to use but if you want to use it in the morning I advise you use a very small quantity or there is a risk you might get a tacky-wacky face. I always use a lot of heavy creams, oils and balms at night I light to use this after my serum and before my other products to gice a little extra waterr-boos to skin. It leaves my skin make instantly hydrated and plumped and by some sord of sorcery it makes my fine-dehydration-lines disappear. . My complexion alsways looks younger and brigther after usage.
When I’m just hanging in the house for the day I like to cleanse my skin properly in the morning, give it a good scrub and then I put this on continously throughout the day in very fine layers, every other hour. I just find it absorves better than if I put a thick layer on my face. At night I always cleanse properly and put on a very generous amount of facial oil to lock the moisture in.
As you know, I have combination skin but not matter how oily I am in a particular day I always look like a sun-dried-tomatoe and this cream just came to give such joy to my poor skin. If your skin is dehydrated this is perfect for you but I higly recommend you use it alone as it might not be enought for your skin and it needs both water and oil to keep itself balaced and healthy.
