My Favorite Hair Oils

I’m a really big fan of oils in general and started using them long before this great rave about them. Actually I used to use the natural multi-tasking ones but my inner shopaholic made me buy all this new targeted oils. I love a good hair oil and I also love that they can be used in many different ways: you can use as pre-wash treatment and as a leave-in treatment, with your hair wet or dry, up or down and the great thing is no matter how you use them, the result will always be the same: frizz-free, nourished and silky hair.

Garnier Ultimate Blends, The Sleek Restorer Oil | £9.99- This is a recent acquisition from my last trip to Boots and its probably my favorite drugstore hair oil! You gotta try it to believe it. It smells amazing, it leaves the really soft and nourished and I feel it treats my hair instead of just coating it and trycking me into that my hair looks nice. It is also really light weighted which is a must if you’re have a heavy hand with hair products like I am. (You can find it here:
Pure Luxury Rejuvenating Argan Oil Elixir | ~£14 – This was a love-hate relashionship, at first I found it very heavy and to silicon(ish), which is all I don’t like about a hair product. I find silicone based products tend to leave my hair heavier and it only appears to look nice, but with time and the right amount of product I’ve grown into loving this product. I like to use it as a finishing touch after I wash my hair and leaves my hair really soft, although I don’t really feel its hydrating or nourishing. Its also a great product for those days when you’re having a bad hair day and nothing else works. This wiull leave you frizz-free in no time.
L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil | ~£8 – This is my least favorite of the 4. Again I find it to siliconed for my taste and the only way I can use it is as a pre-wash treatment, I find it leaves my hair silky but that’s it. (you can find it here:
L’Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil | ~£16 – This was also a recent purchase but if I had known I was going to find the Garnier oil I would have never bought this as I like the other one much better. This is the lightest of them all and it does give my hair a great deal of shine and silkiness but I don’t find it as nourishing as others, still a favorite though. (you can fin it here:

Are you also a of the hair oils trend? Can you recommend a really good one for me to try?
