As you’re probably tired of reading, this winter I’m being severely punished with dry skin from head to toe and my lips are no exception and and I’d like to show you what I’ve been wearing to keep my lips nice and plumped.
The key for soft lips is exfoliation and this is the step where I slack the most when it comes to my skincare routine. I always tell myself I’m going to exfoliate my lips every couple of days but I end up doing it once a week, sometimes not even. I’ve tried a few lip scrubs but I always come back to Lush. I love their scrubs, they’re thick and grainy, this one tastes/smells of bubblegum but they have an endless collection of flavors. When it comes to ingredients, they have nothing fancy, just plain sugar, jojoba oil, flavoring and color.
Ingredients: Caster Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Flavour, Colour 45410, Colour 45380
Sleeping masks got popular in Korea but every other brand plus their uncle has recently released a sleeping mask and brands had to come up with different ways to market this popular product, so on the spring of 2015 Laneige launched this Lip Sleeping Mask, which I thought it would have a creamy mask consistency but it turns out to be a very lightweight pressed oil which melts once you apply it to the lips.

I’ve been devastated every since my beloved Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick by Body Shop was discontinued but I had to find a solution and a quick one as I can’t go by a day without lip balm. I got this one a couple of weeks ago I have been loving it ever since.
As with all Hempz products it’s enriched with 100% hemp seed oil and it leaves my lips so soft and smooth and despite the face that there’s mineral oil in it, it does keep my lips moisturized for almost the whole day. Rare are the days I need to reapply more than a couple of times per day, even when wearing liquid lipsticks. It has a light and smooth texture and it doesn’t leave my lips greasy and heavy, which I hate, and I can put on lipstick around 10min after applying it. It’s 100% vegan and gluten-free!
Definitely need to stock up on this as the one I have is over 1/3 gone already. What are your favorite lip products? I definitely recommend these 3 if you’re on the lookout for something new.
