LJH Vita Propolis Ampoule and Cream Review

We all know that honey and all its derivatives have amazing healing properties, that includes propolis, which is known as the glue that keeps everything together and protects the hive from harsh weather conditions and reinforces the hive giving it stability against vibration and keeps parasites from entering it. Propolis kills bacteria, lowers blood pressure, helps treat bone disease and allergies, kills cancer cells and has also many skincare benefits like balancing and soothing problematic skin and promoting cell growth as well as fighting bacteria and being anti-inflammatory. Basically propolis does everything good for our skin and we want to be slathering it on like it’s no one’s business.

After learning about the benefits about honey, propolis and royal jelly I set myself the goal of find skincare products with these ingredients and putting them to test so when I came across LJH’s Vita Propolis Ampoule and cream I knew I had to have it.

The first product I tried was the Ampoule, it comes in a tiny little bottle filled with magic and I haven’t been able to let it go ever since I tried it for the first time.

What they say:  A multi-tasking, glow-creating serum ampoule packed with 50% Propolis extract and 20% Multi-vitamins. Perfect for giving an instant “gwang” (dewy glow in Korean) to skin. It also revitalizes skin, helping to even tone, smooth texture and improve dullness. For all skin types. Suitable for acne prone skin.  Formulated with Propolis extract, 3 types of vitamins, Centella Asiatica, Sea Buckthorn extract, Witch Hazel extract, and Rose extract, this ampoule boosts the moisture and nutrient level and vitality, protects and firms skin. Free of: Parabens, Silicones, Colorants, Alcohol, Mineral Oils.

The LJH Vita Propolis Ampoule ¦£25 here is the ultimate multitasking glow giver, I’ve using it for a few weeks and I honestly cannot get enough and my only sorrow regarding it is that it doesn’t come in big 500ml pump bottles!! This is one of my favorite serums, leaves my skin with a serious glow and oh-so-plump and I love that it can be used in so many different ways:

  • Alone as a serum before your moisturiser – if you’re skin is dry and looking dull and lackluster, this will give you the ultimate glow.
  • Few drops mixed in with moisturiser – this is how I mostly use it as this comes in such a small bottle I don’t want to use it up too quickly.
  • Mixed with foundation/cushion, especially when you have dry patches.
  • Patted on top of your foundation on the high points of the face for a strobing effect or all over for a dewy glow – this is my favorite way of using it, it just gives me such a beautiful lit from whithin glow.

If you have dehydrated and/or dry skin you will love the Vita Propolis Cream ¦ £38 here. It has a sumptuous, rich and luxurious texture that absorbs rapidly into the skin and instantly lifts and rehydrates the  skin. It smells or pure raw honey it just makes my skin so soft and smooth. It’s a bit to heavy for summer time but now that the cold weather is approaching this has just been perfect for my parched skin.

What they say: Formulated with Propolis extract and multi-vitamins, this cream hydrates, nourishes and brightens, while neutralizing the effect of skin-damaging free radicals.  Free of: Parabens, Silicones, Colorants, Alcohol, Mineral Oils.

At night I apply it all over and in the morning just on my dry patches. I also love to mix a tiny scoop of this with my (especially) mate foundations for an extra bit of glow. It just keeps my skin so calm and balanced.

Using both these products in conjunction with each other has had such a great impact on my skin which has been behaving and has been quite normal, balanced and soothed with an out of this world glow.

Have you tried any of these products?

Let me know what you think!

Propolis extract: Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties for skin. Portulaca Oleracea Extract: Extract that may have anti-inflammatory or analgesic properties.  Hippophae Rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) Fruit Extract: Sea buckthorn is believed to have several topical benefits, including for acne, but the research to support such claims is lacking. More convincing is the research pertaining to sea buckthorn’s ability to help skin heal when applied to wounds, and it does appear to have some antioxidant ability. Rosa Centifolia Flower Water: Rose water helps to retain moisture and is mildly astringent, which helps to even skin tone and improve its appearance. Niacinamide: Also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid, niacinamide is a potent cell-communicating ingredient that offers multiple benefits for aging skin. Assuming skin is being protected from sun exposure, niacinamide can improve skin’s elasticity, dramatically enhance its barrier function, help erase discolorations, and revive skin’s healthy tone and texture.
